YAN!EE is the brainchild of Ayanna Jacobs-El. A producer, composer, songwriter, DJ, singer, and saxophonist currently based out of Boston, MA. Her music has an eclectic electronic sound with an uplifting and conscious message.

YAN!EE's music is unique because it draws from her roots in the jazz, classical, and R&B genres and blends them with electronic music. The lyrical content of her music also differs from the traditional themes found in electronic music (like love and partying) and discusses topics such as social constructs, mental health, female empowerment, and the injustices minorities face.
